MG Hector Plus

 

MG Hector Plus , a 6 seater SUV was launched just few months back, and its already creating news.

It has many rivals in its segment starting from Innova Crysta, XUV 500 to 5 seaters like Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta. And hence,  there's always been a question if you should buy Hector Plus over these,  comparisons between these and , most importantly,  why should you buy Hector Plus over these other cars.

Here are few reason what I came across while evaluating these cars: 

• The voice commands - no other cars have voice commands like Hector plus has.
• Rich features - no other car has features as good as Hector Plus
• Drive - its very smooth and silent. Kia also has a smooth drive but it doesn't give an SUV feeling like Hector or XUV does
• Panasonic Sunroof - Now Harrier and new Creta also has a Panasonic sunroof but Hector plus has the biggest. Also, Harrier is nearly 3 lacs more expensive than Hector.
• Dashboard- best out of all with electronic hand brake and the biggest touch screen display 
• Amazing sound quality - Though Seltos also has great audio system powered by Bose, I found Hector's sound quality powered by Infinity Audio better than Kia Seltos
• The middle seats are captain seats and they can be adjusted ; recline, front,  backward.
• Bootlid - swipe your leg to open and/or close the boot. You can also open and close the boot from drivers seat as well.
• Only XUV out of these have an 18 inch tyre, rest all are 17
• With all seats up , boot space in Hector Plus is more than XUV
• If you are looking for a city drive, this is one of the best cars. That doesn't mean you can't take this car on highway, you definitely can. If the primary or 80% of the use is going to be for office drive, malls, parks, and city outskirts then this is the car to go for.
